About Me

 

As a therapist, I strive to provide a safe space where I help clients understand how their past has shaped who they are and how they can create more fulfilling life experiences, relationships, and personal growth in the present moment.

 

I currently work with adults aged 19+ years and use a primarily psychodynamic therapeutic framework. I am particularly interested in the mind-body connection and how adversity (whether trauma or life stressors) affects the way we engage with the world and other people. As a result, I have deepened my knowledge of releasing trauma and stress from the body and continue to gain skills that I hope will help my clients reduce emotional pain and become more resilient in the face of life's challenges.

 

The foundation of my work is to create a therapeutic relationship based on respect, trust, and ethical principles, including consideration of the different life circumstances of those I work with. In this way, I select therapeutic interventions that are tailored to each person's specific issues.

 

I hope that my clients always feel noticed and truly heard and that their therapeutic journey is a unique opportunity to learn about themselves.

 

Each of us has a story, and I feel privileged to be able to hear so many of them. That is one of the most humbling, invigorating and rewarding parts of my job.
